Human actions are posing a serious threat to the Earth’s environment. Sailors should respect nature and understand that we need to be good stewards of the environment for the benefit of future generations. The Laser Class dedicates itself to acting responsibly in order to minimize our environmental impact with the products we use and in the locations we sail.
We have started by committing to running clean regattas where for example single-use plastic is eliminated. However, we are aiming for much more. The Laser Class is committed to developing and implementing an event strategy that will help minimize our own carbon footprint and that of our partners, our service providers, and our boat suppliers.
We are stewards of the environment – Your support as members of the Association is required. Acting responsibly as individuals can and will make a difference.
